Running for over fifteen years, the Hall family's animated show coordinates flashing lights to a Christmas music program on 107.1 FM, with portions of the display set on an island in the street. The mega tree now stands 38 feet tall with a custom star, and in 2024 the family collected coats for the One Warm Coat charity.
Best time to arrive. Sunset in Overland Park is around 4:58 PM in mid-December, fully dark by about 5:28 PM. A typical December night here bottoms out near 23°F, so dress for standing around outside.
