Holiday Lights Guide is run by one editor, not a media company, so everything below reaches the same person — the one who maintains the database.
Corrections and closures
Displays go dark, change their hours, or skip a year entirely. If a listing is wrong, tell us which display and what changed — dates and switch-on times are the two things most worth correcting, because they are what people plan an evening around.
Adding a display
Use the submission form rather than email. It asks for the fields we need to place a display on the map, which saves a round trip.
Takedowns
If your home is listed and you would rather it were not, email us and we will remove it the same week, no questions asked. You don't need to explain why.
Press and advertising
Same address. To be clear about what is for sale: nobody pays to be listed, and no listing is ranked, promoted or removed because of advertising. Seehow the guide is funded.
Response time
Usually a few days, and faster in season. Takedown requests jump the queue.
