Practicalities
Residential displays have no facilities of their own — no parking, no toilets, nowhere to warm up — so it is worth knowing what is around. Within about three miles of the Stilwell cluster, OpenStreetMap maps 1 public car park and 5 public toilets. Nowhere nearby for a hot drink — bring a flask.

This large Stilwell lot holds an extensive spread of lights and inflatables anchored by a big weeping tree of lights, with much of the display wrapping around the side of the property. Homes across the street have added their own figures in apparent friendly response.

The standout here is an apparently handmade carousel that rotates to reveal Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph, Santa in his sleigh, and the Grinch in turn. A Peanuts cartoon sign near the road is a work in progress.
