Hundreds of lighted blow-mold figures fill this University Park yard, crowned by the State Fair of Texas's original 1949 Big Tex head, restored and mounted on the roof as Santa. It has long been called one of Dallas's single best home displays.
Best time to arrive. Sunset in Dallas is around 5:23 PM in mid-December, fully dark by about 5:50 PM. A typical December night here bottoms out near 36°F, so dress for standing around outside.
